Studies show that dark chocolate is good for high blood pressure. They also show that it contains potent antioxidants. Women already have enough reason to love chocolate so what could be better? Now Dr. Triche has done research at Yale that has found the benefits of dark chocolate for pregnancy.
Preeclampsia causes swelling, sudden weight gain, headaches and vision problems. The condition is also harmful to the unborn child. Now they have found that women that regularly eat dark chocolate during pregnancy are 69 percent less likely to develop Preeclampsia. So I say eat up!
You have to right? It is for the baby! You are eating dark chocolate for two right?
When I think of all of the things I make and buy over the holidays chocolate comes to mind. The holidays are the time when I purchase more chocolate. I get some for gifts and some for entertaining. Who would not want to receive chocolate?
All this time that I was giving away chocolate who knew that I was giving the gift of good health? LOL
Okay time to go look at the Intentional Chocolate website and drool. Oh yeah, I will not drool. I will look into some dark chocolate for health reasons!
As if having someone hit and total my Jeep was not bad enough, this week became even more stressful when the washing machine started acting up and the microwave died. I am so glad that it is all over and I can get rid of all of that stress!
James went to microwave something and as soon as he hit start there was a loud pop. He tried to use it anyway but it would not heat anything up. I then went into crazy Google mode and searched the internet. I found many forums that all agreed that it was a dead Magnetron. Every website agreed the part was between $60 and $80. They also agreed that it was a 2 person job that would take 2 hours… if it worked and you did not electrocute yourself. Paying someone was supposed to cost more than getting a new microwave.
We were in Madison meeting the insurance guy anyway so we also bought a new microwave. All is better now. It only took a drill, jig saw, Dremel, and a few cut up knuckles and James had it installed. I am just happy that life is almost back to normal.

Why do things always go wrong when you are way behind on things? I should have learned by now that my life is always crazy so I should to try to keep on top of things!
When I first got this washing machine I was like a little kid. I was so happy to have a huge washer that could keep up with my laundry needs. It was able to wash huge loads so laundry took much less time. Of course this meant that I had to buy more laundry baskets because I still did not have time to put things away. I then took the “every man for himself” approach. Everyone has their own basket and I just separate laundry. They can put away their own stuff.
Earlier in the year we found that we could no longer do the largest load size or it would flood the basement with water. It still worked so I forgave it and did smaller loads.
Then comes yesterday… I was way behind on laundry and everyone needed something washed. Then James went to do a load of laundry in the morning and no water started. He had to fight with it for awhile but now he claims it will behave itself again.
I am not too trusting of my washing machine anymore though. I may have to send it packing and find a new one. I really want that excitement back. I miss doing huge loads.

Are you kidding me? Is it really 9:30 in the morning? It is so dark and gloomy out that all I want to do is go back to bed. There is no sign of sunlight anywhere. If I did not know any better I would say it looks like a winter day with snow about to fall.
Gloomy days like these make me feel very lazy. Maybe that is why I got more done when I lived in Arizona. The bright sun every morning really wakes you up and gets you going. It is hard to not be happy when the sky is beautiful.
Wisconsin gloomy days just make me want to crawl back under the covers and watch a movie. I have a lot to do today too! It is going to take a lot of coffee to get me going today.

It would also eliminate the need to move speakers from room to room. We have a few sets of speakers for the iPods. We have small speakers, a few iDogs, medium sized speakers, and even a few stuffed animal pillow speakers. We do not have large speakers though. Everytime we clean we have to move the medium speakers from the recroom into the livingroom. The Yamaha PDX-60 would be able to stay in the livingroom all of the time. Plus it comes in black, blue, gray and pink.
The first toy the Pug puppies discovered were the tug ropes. They may be tiny but they love to play. I think these were taken at around 5 weeks old. The girls loved to play with them so it kept the puppies active and not getting into trouble.
The Pug puppies love chewing things nonstop and at least the tug ropes kept them from chewing cords all the time. If given the opportunity they would chew anything. Their favorite thing to chew right now is the bottom of jeans and shoe laces. We can not walk anywhere near the puppies without them all attacking our feet. This makes it hard to walk around without stepping on them. It is like having tiny monsters.

James lived in England for about 6 months. He really liked it but he missed us. He called me all of the time telling me about the places he visited but he really wanted to come home. I think a trip to London with the whole family would be really fun. We could all experience it together and James would love to show us around.
